Your Generosity is Changing Lives—A Story from a Graduate

This summer marks another first for Hope Reins. With your support, we celebrated our first graduation recognizing 46 graduates who have completed the Pathway to Resilience at Hope Reins. One of those graduates is Peyton.

When ten-year-old Peyton and her mom first drove through the gates of Hope Reins, they were living with Peyton’s grandparents while her father received help to overcome his addiction.

They came hoping to find help, but there was one problem—there were no openings.

Then something unexpected happened.

During their tour, Peyton met a little gray pony named Shiloh.

”She sniffed my hand,” Peyton remembers. ”Her whiskers tickled my fingers.”

Standing beside Shiloh was mentor, Janiece. Sensing Peyton’s need, Janiece offered to begin meeting with her one-on-one.

God had opened a door — a space had opened up for Peyton! And this door would provide hope for Peyton when tragedy struck again.
