Support the Herd

Our herd is made up of horses who have been generously donated to Hope Reins, and each one plays a special role in helping kids find hope and healing.

Thank you for considering a donation of a horse or equine supplies to support the work happening at the ranch.

Thank you for helping us provide excellent care for the horses who provide such a meaningful connection for the kids we serve.

Hope Reins is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax deductible as charitable contributions.

Horse Donations:

We are currently looking for a gelding to add to one of our herds.

Because our horses work closely with children who have experienced trauma, we carefully consider each horse to ensure they are a good fit for our program, our herd and the kids we serve.

We typically look for horses who:

  • Are between 9–19 years old
  • Are rideable
  • Have a story of rescue or hardship somewhere in their past
  • Have the temperament and health needed to safely engage with children

If you have a horse you believe may be a good fit for Hope Reins, we would love to learn more about them.

Equine Supply Donations:

We are grateful for those who help us care for our herd through donations of needed supplies.

At this time, we are only accepting the following equine supply donations:

  • Fly boots
  • Fly masks
  • Full-size horse sheets and blankets (turnout/waterproof)
  • Baking soda
  • Horse shampoo and conditioner

All supply donations must be delivered to Hope Reins.
