Where’s Waldo?

Do you remember the puzzle book series called Where’s Waldo?

In 1987, an English illustrator created the intrepid character, Waldo, who donned a trademark red-and-white striped shirt, bobble hat, and glasses.

Readers were challenged to find Waldo hidden within the colorful illustrations of crowds of people. If you recall, the iconic character had made his way through every country and continent by the time the book series concluded and eventually hit  television and movie screens!

You must be wondering what Waldo has to do with you.

Well, if you recall, Brandon Wert, our beloved Ranch Manager, is moving to Arizona at the end of this month with his family.

And, we’ve been scouring the Raleigh/Durham area over the last few months for a replacement in this key position, to no avail.  In fact, it seems like we are searching for our very own Waldo, AKA our Hope Reins Ranch Manager!

But the good news is—you always come through!  That’s right, as amazing as it sounds, almost every time I ask you for help in filling important positions at the ranch, another “Waldo” is found.

So please take a look at these attributes and ask yourself if you might know our Waldo:

Most importantly, if you think you know a Waldo, encourage them to learn more about the position here.

Thank you so much for being a part of an incredibly generous, thoughtful and kind group of people.  You are valued more than you’ll ever know.

In Hope,

Kim Tschirret

P.S.  If you do run across Waldo, tell him to ditch the knit cap in favor of a cowboy hat :)
