They Found Joy at Summer Camp.
Not only do you provide life-saving equine services for victims of trauma during the regular season, you also infuse them with joy and a sense of connectedness during
summer camp.
And this is my first reason for thanking you today. Because without your generous gifts, it would have been impossible to provide the three full weeks of summer camp that were just successfully concluded.
I also want to thank you for giving a boy named Liam the “best birthday gift” he ever received: A spot at Hope Reins. Your heart for hurting kids is why Liam is here!
Liam joins Hope Reins for the second half of the season and the 12-year-old couldn’t be more excited! Not only did he “have the best week ever” but he also celebrated his birthday with staff, other kids and his favorite horse, Pax.
(Liam celebrated the same birthday as John, a volunteer Listener.)
My third and final thank you is for your enduring support of our staff.
Recently, we announced that our beloved ranch manager, Brandon, will be leaving his post and moving to Arizona with his family. Brandon, the staff and I have been so encouraged by your kind notes and comments. We are truly going to miss him.
And, we still need your help to fill his position! Please share the Ranch Manager jobdescription with your friends, colleagues, and anyone else you think might be a good fit for the role.
Thank you. Thank you. And, thank you!
Have a great weekend!
In Hope,
Kim Tschirret
