A horse named Sammy needs you
At Hope Reins, every horse has their own story of rescue.
Sammy, rescued from a kill pen, has become an absolute lifeline for kids like 11-year-old Andrew — young people who have decided that “people hurt too much” … but begin to trust again when they find a Hope Reins horse they can lean on.
If you give right away, your gift will DOUBLE up to $174,000 to support Sammy and 16 other horses who each are a bridge from trauma to transformation for kids like Andrew.
Training, feeding, and keeping a healthy herd of 17 horses takes tremendous care year-round. These horses don’t just need hay and vet visits. They need champions like you to make sure they’re ready for the day the next child in crisis walks onto the ranch.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll share with you more about Sammy and Andrew, about other Hope Reins horses and “their kids,” and about how you can be there for a child who doesn’t know about people like you … or what you make possible for kids and horses.
For now, I hope you enjoy this video. We were honored to welcome Scott Mason from WRAL Tar Heel Traveler to Hope Reins—and now the story is live.

From rescued horses to kids finding hope and healing, this segment captures a glimpse of what God is doing here every day and gives you a glimpse of how your giving makes an impact.
Will you give today to double your impact? Every dollar helps care for the horses who bring hope and healing to kids in crisis.

P.S. Andrew decided, “People hurt too much.” But your kindness can tell him — and so many other kids in need right now — about a different truth: hope starts with a horse.
Please don’t wait. The deadline is June 12 … or until matching funds run out.
