Horses like Sammy and Zeb are changing lives every day. They are a safe and steady presence, as well as an emotional mirror, for teens like Taylor, Brandon, and Andrew (each of whom I recently wrote to you about).
This presence helps kids trust again after losing trust in the people around them. Interacting with their horse teaches a child how to handle their intense emotions. Hope, trust, and confidence follow.
We want this for as many hurting kids as possible. But it can’t happen without the horses who lead the way.
