The Tiny House With a BIG Heart.
One of the first things you’ll notice when entering our gates is the bright red welcome center and a sign reflecting the beautiful words from Psalm 118:23.
The building and scripture are strategically placed at the forefront of the ranch to remind us of our humble beginnings and the miraculous provisions God has provided Hope Reins.
We built the tiny welcome center well over a decade ago at our former rented property near I-540 and Creedmoor Road in Raleigh. Some of our very first volunteers spent a long weekend hammering together the two-by-fours that erected this very special building—which is and always has been the physical ‘heart’ of Hope Reins. (We secured it on a flatbed and trailered it to our new property when we moved!)
I can’t begin to tell you how many thousands of hurting kids have been prayed for by our mentors inside the well-worn walls of the welcome center.
The countless moms who’ve sat behind its doors wrapped in a warm embrace with a Hope Reins Listener as her child joyfully engages in sessions.
And most of all, the welcome center has been a beacon of hope for new families, year after year, who expectantly walk through the gates for their orientation so their child can heal at this remarkable place you helped build called Hope Reins.
Why do I share this with you today?
Because next week begins Hope Reins’ 15th season where hundreds of new kids will begin their journey of healing because of God’s grace and your incredible generosity!
And for this, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Have a wonderful weekend!
