My journey to Hope Reins began with a deep-seated belief in the power of kindness and empathy. It was a calling rooted in the understanding that every living being deserves love and understanding, mirroring the unconditional love that God has shown us. The organization’s mission resonated with my own convictions about the transformative power of relationships—between humans and horses, and ultimately, between souls and their Creator. It’s a reminder that God’s love manifests in myriad ways, often through the tender interactions we have with His creation. 

As the Development Director at Hope Reins, my role is a testament to God’s provision and grace. I lead efforts to secure vital resources, cultivate meaningful partnerships, and steward donations that sustain our mission. Through this work, I see firsthand how God uses our collective efforts to impact the lives of children profoundly. By nurturing these connections and support, we not only provide therapeutic experiences with horses but also sow seeds of faith, hope, and healing in the hearts of young people, reflecting God’s love and grace in tangible ways.

With over 7 years of dedicated fundraising experience, I bring a robust skill set to my role as Development Director at Hope Reins. My journey began with a double BA in Journalism and Business Administration, which equipped me with both strategic communication and organizational acumen essential for effective fundraising. Additionally, my certification as a yoga instructor underscores my commitment to holistic well-being, aligning with Hope Reins’ mission to nurture emotional and spiritual growth alongside physical care. This diverse background enables me to creatively engage donors, build sustainable partnerships, and ensure that our efforts at Hope Reins continue to flourish, impacting the lives of children and families in profound ways.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy and fulfillment in my family and a variety of hobbies. My dog, Annie, brings endless companionship and playfulness to my days, reminding me of the simple joys of unconditional love. As a former volunteer firefighter, I have a deep respect for community service and a commitment to helping others in times of need. In my leisure time, I enjoy practicing yoga for its physical and spiritual benefits, delving into good books to expand my knowledge and perspective, and exploring different cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie. I also appreciate the art of wine tasting, savoring the complexities and stories behind each bottle. Above all, my faith in God anchors me, providing guidance and purpose in both my personal and professional endeavors.
