COVID-19 UPDATE AS OF 9/1/21: Because of the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in our state, Hope Reins is temporarily canceling all group events at the ranch, including Barn Chores (on the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month) and Service Groups, until further notice. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you soon at Hope Reins.
Hope Reins developed a monthly phased plan in accordance with the recommendations by Gov. Cooper for the state of North Carolina.
But because of your support, we NEVER stopped caring for our horses and kids.
Even before kids returned, over 800 videos and 1,400 Packets of Hope were sent to them while isolated at home. Virtual sessions were streamed LIVE from the Ranch. Thank you for supporting these efforts.
By June 1, 2020, we were able to welcome back all the kids who felt safe returning to the ranch during COVID-19. We were also able to serve some of our community partners hit particularly hard during the pandemic, like Raleigh Rescue Mission, the Boys and Girls Club of Durham, and Refugee Hope.
At present, North Carolina is operating under Gov. Cooper’s executive order 215, which is effective until July 30, 2021.
- Lifts all mandatory capacity and gathering limits.
- Lifts all social distancing requirements.
- Lifts mandatory mask requirements for most indoor and outdoor settings.
While Hope Reins continues to offer sessions to kids and families, we do ask that any prospective visitors schedule an appointment by contacting us at 919-345-4914. Interested in volunteering?
We will continue to reassess our plans in congruence with recommendations by Gov. Cooper and the state of North Carolina.
