Sometimes, I just want to share the simplest of stories with you.

This is one of them.

You support a sweet, yet extremely timid 7-year-old girl named Lia.

Fishing off the dock last week during sessions turned scary for her.

Another session kid fishing nearby was stung by a wasp, which set off (as you can imagine) a frenetic scene.

Lia dropped her pole and ran to the end of the dock.

After some encouraging words from Heather, her session leader, the duo headed back to their fishing post to find the dozen or so worms they’d strewn on the dock.

But instead of separating or inching their way toward freedom, all the worms had clustered and curled into a big ball.

“They feel safe together,” said Heather with a smile, recognizing the teachable moment.  “And, do you know who can always offer you a place of safety?”

“God,” Lia quietly responded.  “And, Hope Reins.”

Thank you for supporting Lia.

Hope,
