Four Broken Hearts.

I want to let you know that the last two weeks at the ranch have been joyous because of your generosity.

Our gates opened to Hope Reins’ 14th season and welcomed a record-breaking number of new kids that began the most important journey of their lives: healing from tragedy.

You might remember me telling you about the family of four boys, ranging in age from 5 to 15, who were waiting for funding so they could start our program.

Meet Levi, Kaleb, Malachi and Josiah (left to right above).  Behind these beautiful smiles, each boy carries deep wounds from losing their beloved father to suicide.

But because of your commitment in providing a safe harbor like Hope Reins, the boys are learning how to emotionally reconnect by building a healthy relationship with a horse.

And, remember, each will find his own unique path forward. That’s the significanceof your philanthropy.  Kids grieve in different ways so each is paired with a mentor and horse that are custom-selected for them.

You truly are the difference between these boys giving up or moving forward.  And being able to move through the tragedy and onto healing breeds the kind of emotional resilience that will stay with them forever.

All because people like you, care.

Thank you.  Have a great weekend!
