Watch Retired Police Horse Play Follow-the-Officer.

There’s a special horse I want you to meet.  He’s got big floppy ears and a gentle soul.

His name is Zeb.  And he’s a former member of the Raleigh Police Department’s Mounted Unit.

And now, he’s retiring at Hope Reins.

Sergeant Davis and Officer Montemurro are saddened to see Zeb leave them.  But they know you’ll take good care of him.

Because you love the horses and kids at Hope Reins.

It’s not everyday we have the opportunity to add a hero like Zeb.  Aside from his charismatic presence and the extensive “desensitizing” training he received as a police horse, his innate temperament and personality will be a huge asset in helping kids heal at Hope Reins.

Sgt. Davis shared this video below of just why he refers to Zeb as a gentle giant.  Check it out:

I can’t wait to introduce you to the other heroic horses being added to the herd.  Your help is needed to expand pastures, feed sheds and paddocks.

And you’ll be hearing just how you can help very soon through the Heroes for Hope Campaign.

Have a great weekend!
